Owner: Janae D. Price, MPH

Commander Janae D. Price has extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, and data analysis within the public health and healthcare sectors using principles that are easily applied to the manufacturing industry. She has additional experience in sales and marketing, managing a diverse book-of-business, and developing new product/service lines as well as use of business analytics tools such as Salesforce. As a prior Contracting Officer Representative she has extensive knowledge in federal procurement and forecasting information and can support writing bids for procurement of federal contracts. She has also managed federal purchase orders and grant agreements.

Mr. Dustin L. Price has extensive experience in the machining and manufacturing industries. As a journeyman machinist (2000), Mr. Price has demonstrated his knowledge and ability to machine large industrial components, aerospace parts in exotic materials, in addition to castings for the oil and gas industry. Mr. Price also completed his Mechanical Engineering Technology degree (Purdue – 2010) and has had extensive experience in designing complex and custom products across a variety of industries to include but not limited to aerospace, hydraulic construction equipment, store fixture/design, and commercial beverage equipment. Mr. Prices has experience with training and mentoring colleagues as well as providing leadership over special engineering projects.

Dustin and Janae Price, originally from Lafayette, IN and proud parents of to two beautiful children, Annika and Andrew Price. The Price family moved to Springfield, IL in 2017 from Frederick, MD seeking better professional opportunities and the ability to be much closer to friends and family.
Janae Price is a US Military Veteran with 24 years of service. She first enlisted into the US Air Force in 1995 and was commissioned into the U.S. Public Health Service in 2004. She is the majority owner of Commander Machining Company.
Dustin Price is a Journeyman machininst and mechanical Engineer. He is a co-owner and operations manager of Commander Machining Company.
